Tournament Guidelines:

* Timing:
Each team will have 2 min 30 sec to warm up at the beginning of each match.
Immediately followed by 3 games of 9 min, with 90 sec of rest in between games.
A whistle will be used each steps to keep the event on schedule.

* Scoring:
The scoring system is Point-a-rally. We will be using Game points (which are the usual amount of points collected during a game) and Match points (which could be 0, 1 or 2 per game lost, tied or won). As it is timed, an unlimited number of points could be played in the allotted game time.
At the end of each game, at the whistle, the play STOP. The score prior the whistle stands.
The team with the more points wins the game and scores 2 Match Points for that game. If there is a TIE on Game points, both teams score 1 Match Point for that game.
One extra Match point will be allocated to the team who won the match.This is the team, at the end of the match, with the highest Match points. If there is a TIE on Match points, the winning team is the team with the highest total (over the all three games) of Game points. And if there is still a TIE on Game points, No extra Match point is allocated.

*Serving
At the start of a match both teams must indicate their order of serving which must remain the same throughout the match. At the beginning of each game and after each change of server, the server chooses from which service-box to serve. While retaining the serve, the server must serve from alternate boxes. At the beginning of a match each team nominates the player to receive service from the right side of the court and the player to receive service from the left
side. Players may change sides for receiving service at the start of a new game (only). Both the Referee/Marker and the opposing team must be informed of the change.

*Mark/Referee
After each matches each team has the duty to referee the following match on the same court.
During the event, No 'Stroke' will be granted at the back half of the court. Only 'Let' or 'No Let' might be granted in this area.
At the half front of the court, all the calls might be used by the referee.

*Recommendations
All players MUST wear Squash Australia approved protective eye-wear.
All players have to fill out an entry form and have to pay entry fee before playing.
Do not hesitate to contact Stafford Squash Club and Kylie with any inquiry you might have.
